Gensco has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Supervisor at our distribution center in Tacoma, WA! This position is Monday-Friday Graveyard Shift Full Time - Pay Range $25 - $32.50/hour based on experience.

Summary
Responsible for supervising the day-to-day warehousing, delivery, and customer service functions of a Branch Warehouse
Responsible for Team building, implementing continuous education processes for all Branch Team Members, establishing objective and measurable goals, and clearly communicating these goals and standards to Branch Team
Maintain a positive, helpful attitude toward fellow Team Members and Customers
Suggest and implement improvements in warehouse cost management, best practices, and operational process design and implementation
Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
AA degree preferred or equivalent work experience preferred
2+ years related experience with Gensco or equivalent preferred
Prior direct customer service experience – desire to work directly with customers
Excellent knowledge of the products Gensco sells
Understanding of inside sales, outside sales, warehouse, and delivery functions
Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
Strong decision-making abilities - understand impact and implications of decisions
Strong negotiation skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Strong people management and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to organize people and resources to get the job done
Able to operate computer terminal, personal computer, and office machines
Able to communicate with the public in person and on the phone
Able to work sitting or standing and move freely throughout the facility(s)
Able to lift and carry equipment, supplies, and inventory on a frequent basis
Able to organize people within the Branch and promote teamwork
